3 days in the north of Mallorca

Mallorca
24 May 2021

From the PortBlue Hotel Group, we would like to make a suggestion: How about a three-day break in the north of the island?

At PortBlue Club Pollentia Resort & Spa, we await you with open arms and plenty of plans to enjoy a few unforgettable days.

Are you ready? Take paper and pencil, here are several ideas to spend three days in the north of Mallorca:

Day 1. Pollença Bay, a place for relaxation and fun.

The greatest pleasure, without any mingling of annoyances, is rest“.

Knowing that resting is a necessity rather than a desire, we suggest you start your holiday with a session of rest, relaxation and silence in the hotel’s swimming pools. There is no stress that water cannot cure.

If you also want to enjoy the sea on two wheels, you can rent a bike at the hotel and enjoy a ride around the bay with spectacular views.

If you want to come accompanied by the little ones of the house, you will find various activities for them to enjoy in the area around the hotel: Karts, Paintball or water park.

A day between rest and fun to start the holidays.

Day 2. Cap de Formentor, Cala Figuera and Coll Baix, three unmissable destinations near Puerto de Pollença.

There is one book that is always open to all eyes: nature“.

Want to switch off and spend the day outdoors, breathing fresh air and admiring the island’s most spectacular beauty?

Perfect. We have three suggestions for you.

Visit Formentor: Cap de Formentor is perhaps one of the most spectacular of the island. A winding road that will lead you, calmly and quietly, to a lighthouse. From there, with the magnificent cliff and the immense sea, you will know first-hand what beauty is.

Cala Figuera: One of the most special fishing ports of the island. The intense green of the fig trees, the blue of the sea illuminated by the sun and the feeling of having reached the end of the road make Cala Figuera a magical place. We recommend you look for a spot where you can take a dip via a staircase that leads directly to the sea.

Trip to Coll Baix: A 30 to 40-minute trip separates us from one of Mallorca’s most spectacular beaches. A corner protected by a mountainous landscape, with its turquoise blue, virgin and pure waters, it is well worth the hike.

What better way to regain your strength after an intense day of hiking and excursions than at the hotel’s spa ? Enjoy a spa in an idyllic setting and the daily one and a half hour session available just for staying at PortBlue Club Pollentia Resort & Spa (prior reservation required).

Day 3. Pollença, an active municipality to enjoy sports, adventure and nature.

“Life is either a big adventure or nothing”.

Now that you’re rested, what do you say we suggest a little adventure?

We have different proposals for all ages and tastes: kayaking or paddle surfing (equipment rental at the hotel), for the more daring; a kitesurfing session (equipment hire at the hotel), bird watching, we have an area for this at the hotel or any of the activities offered at Mon d’aventura (https://mondaventura.com/en/): Diving, boat trips, family fishing, canyoning, roller coaster rides and many other activities.

And for those who prefer to stay at the hotel, we also have several options so you won’t get bored: Tennis and  volleyball fields (prior reservation), Putting green and a full gym.

The best gastronomic offer to complete your getaway

Moreover, if you are one of those who believe that a perfect holiday goes hand in hand with a good gastronomic offer, you have come to the right place.

For example, you can enjoy a wonderful buffet at the Restaurante Denario, where a selection of the best local, national and international products will delight most sybarites, enjoy a selection of the best drinks with sea views and a live pianist at the Luna Bar, or a Chill Out Bar to have a drink and admire the bay of Pollença from a bird’s eye view.

Three days to relax, enjoy and admire that Mallorca is still a paradise.
